Merryvale Vineyards Pours on
the Generosity to Fight AIDS

Northern California—Merryvale Vineyards in the Napa Valley has teamed up with Project Inform in an effort to raise much-needed funds for HIV/AIDS treatment related programs. Now through June 30, Merryvale will donate $5.00 from the sale of every bottle of 2000 Profile red blend and 2000 and 2001 Silhouette Chardonnay sold in participating markets to support Project Inform's HIV/AIDS treatment information and advocacy programs. Additionally, friends of Project Inform can save 20 percent on these award-winning wines from now until May 31, and Merryvale will donate $5 per bottle from these sales also.

"We are thrilled about this partnership," says Project Inform Board President Steve Lew. "Faced with ongoing economic uncertainty and decreased funding, I raise a glass to Merryvale for supporting our efforts to move AIDS research toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure." Executive Director Ellen LaPointe adds, "Finding innovative ways to support vital services for people living with HIV and for their loved ones is crucial. This opportunity to amplify our message of hope is a welcome one."

A family-owned winery, Merryvale is conducting the drive in more than 20 key U.S. markets. "Merryvale has been blessed with wonderful support from the community over the years," says President and Chief Executive Officer Peter K. Huwiler. "It means a lot to all of us to give back with what we hope will be a significant contribution to Project Inform.
