World AIDS Day Webcasts

November 27, 2001

San Francisco—On Friday, Nov. 30, the following events will be webcast by kaisernetwork.org, a free health policy webcasting and news summary service of the Kaiser Family Foundation:

  • **"I Care...Do You?" - UNAIDS Town Hall Meeting focusing on how individuals, particularly young men, can make a difference in the fight against AIDS. (Webcast LIVE from 10:00am ET to 1:00pm ET)
  • **"Youth and HIV/AIDS Prevention Policy: New Directions" - AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth and Families and the Academy for Educational Development conference. (Available 4:00pm ET)
  • **"The World Wide HIV/AIDS Epidemic and How Young People Can Make a Difference" -Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and George Washington University town hall meeting that will highlight the current state of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and how young people can make a difference. (Available 9:00am ET)
  • **"Staying Alive" - an MTV International half-hour documentary designed to raise awareness about the global AIDS epidemic and promote prevention. (Available 9:00am ET, Saturday, Dec. 1)

All you need is internet access, speakers, and Real Player or Windows Media Player (both can be downloaded for free).

All of these audio/video webcasts will be archived for your viewing at any time. Additionally, TRANSCRIPTS, a keyword search of the audio/video, and other supporting materials and links will be available within two to three business days of each event.
