Founder, Project Inform

On January 19, 2009, Project Inform Founder Martin Delaney was honored by Dr. Tony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (NIAID), for his towering leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS.  Marty was given the prestigious Special Recognition Award for his lifesaving work to advance safe and effective HIV medications and inform people with HIV about their treatment options and health care.

Marty has advocated for people with HIV during many years of close personal and professional collaboration with Dr. Fauci, who serves as the nation’s chief medical officer responsible for research into HIV. The ability of these two great men to have frank and open conversation about the direction of HIV research and drug development has been largely responsible for the gains that have been made in the treatment of HIV.

This richly deserved Award is a high honor for our heroic Marty Delaney, who has helped to protect the lives of millions of individuals. To read more, click here.
