Coalition Issues “Report Card” on
Bush Administration’s HIV/AIDS Policies
A coalition of national, regional, and local organizations, including
Project Inform, recently developed a “report card” on
the Bush Administration’s efforts to fight HIV/AIDS. The report
card evaluates the Administration’s performance on the following
topics:
Care/treatment
Housing
Minority HIV/AIDS Initiative
Prevention
Research
Global Issues
Executive Office of the President
The coalition also issued an open letter to President Bush urging
him to improve upon his poor scores and indicating our willingness
to work with him and his Administration to make HIV/AIDS a priority.
