877-HELP-4-HEP (hepatitis C help line)
Project Inform partners with The Support Partnership, a collaboration of nationally recognized hepatitis C organizations, to provide a peer-run toll-free helpline (877-435-7443) for people affected by hepatitis C. Volunteer counselors help answer caller’s questions and guide constituents through their continuum of care. General knowledge of hepatitis C is preferred. Experience with hep C is beneficial though not necessary. Bilingual speakers in English and Spanish are encouraged to get involved.

Board of Directors
Project Inform is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors who give generously of their time, talents and resources. Candidates with skills and experience in fund development, program management, marketing and communications, and community organizing are encouraged to apply. To receive an introductory packet of information and instructions on how to become a possible candidate, contact the Executive Director.

Fundraising and special events
Project Inform schedules special events throughout the year, and volunteers help us with both the preparation for and on-site management. Starting in 2014, Project Inform will coordinate the SF AIDS Walk as well as our annual Evening of Hope fashion show and springtime event Swimwear For A Cause. We’ll help you find a volunteer fit that best matches your interests. For more information, contact the Development Department.

General office support
Project Inform’s daily activities are supported by volunteers providing general administrative support, including answering phones, helping with special projects, reception, data entry, mailing projects, filing and errands. Some positions need strong database, typing and computer skills (particularly Raiser’s Edge). For more information, contact the volunteer coordinator.

If you have any questions about volunteering, contact 415-558-8669. If you do not have the time to volunteer, please consider helping Project Inform by making a donation.
