Project Inform encourages applications for employment and volunteer positions from all qualified individuals. We especially encourage applications from women, people of color, and individuals with disabilities, including HIV-related disabilities.
There are no positions currently open.
Volunteers support projects and programs that serve people living with HIV in the San Francisco Bay Area, throughout the country and around the world. You, too, can make a difference by volunteering your time, knowledge and skills. Get your friends involved too!

877-HELP-4-HEP (hepatitis C help line)
Project Inform partners with The Support Partnership, a collaboration of nationally recognized hepatitis C organizations, to provide a peer-managed toll-free helpline (877-435-7443) for people affected by hepatitis C. Volunteer counseling operators assist in answering caller’s questions and guiding constituents through their continuum of care. General knowledge of hepatitis C is preferred. Experience with hep C is beneficial though not necessary. Bilingual speakers in English and Spanish are encouraged to get involved.
Board of Directors
Project Inform is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors who give generously of their time, talents and resources. Candidates with skills and experience in fund development, program management, marketing and communications, and community organizing are encouraged to apply. To receive an introductory packet of information and instructions on how to become a possible candidate, contact the Executive Director.
Fundraising and special events
Project Inform schedules special events throughout the year, and volunteers help us with both the preparation for and on-site management. Project Inform also participates in other community events where individuals as well as volunteer teams can help, such as AIDS Walk or our annual Evening of Hope fashion show. We’ll help you find a volunteer fit that best matches your interests. For more information, contact the Development Department.
General office support
Project Inform’s daily activities are supported by volunteers providing general administrative support, including answering phones, helping with special projects, reception, data entry, mailing projects, filing and errands. Some positions need strong database, typing and computer skills (particularly Raiser’s Edge). For more information, contact the volunteer coordinator.
If you have any questions about volunteering, contact 415-558-8669. If you do not have the time to volunteer, please consider helping Project Inform by making a donation.
